Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Scheme Manager to join a London Borough Authority team in Enfield, providing comprehensive support to residents in Housing for Older Persons and specialist housing.

THE ROLE
The Scheme Manager will provide high-quality and comprehensive support to service users, empowering them to plan, work towards, and achieve their outcomes.

Scheme Manager key responsibilities include:

  • Supporting individual and team service outcomes.
  • Ensuring smooth operation of services in accordance with local policies and legislation.
  • Delivering a tenure-blind, wholesome offer for residents.
  • Managing complex casework, including safeguarding, domestic abuse, mental health, and more.
  • Providing property management, ensuring health and safety compliance.
  • Conducting regular inspections and raising necessary repairs.
  • Engaging with the community through face-to-face contact.
  • Supervising staff and supporting their development.
  • Acting as deputy to the Later Living Manager.
  • Maintaining relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Contributing to budget management for People Operations Services.

Scheme Manager requirements include:

  • Proven track record in managing complex casework.
  • Experience in property management and health and safety compliance.
  • Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to engage with diverse stakeholders.
  • Commitment to customer-focused service delivery and continuous improvement.

Scheme Manager Qualifications and Experience:

  • Previous experience in a Scheme manager role.
  • Enhanced DBS certification.
  • Strong organizational and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and engage in lone working situations.

The Package
This is a temporary, Scheme Manager role,35 hours per week for an initial 3 months, covering the recruitment process for a permanent team member, meaning the role could be extended, or become permanent.
