Intelligent Resource is working in partnership with a major Client in the UK. We are currently recruiting HVDC Cable Engineer to be Remote based out.
Job Title= HVDC Cable Engineer/ Offshore Cable Engineer
Location = Remote, UK
Duration= 6 Months Initially
IR35 Status: Inside
- The System Design Specialist will be ultimately responsible for the technical feasibility and detailed technical assessment/design of the HVDC and AC cable systems:
- A strong track record in cable systems studies with experience in land and submarine HVDC transmission systems. Ideally worked on one or more of HVDC interconnectors, and/or OFTOs
- Experience of using cable design packages
- A good knowledge of the latest technology in HVDC and AC cable systems, specifically offshore submarine HVDC cables.
- Strong industry relationships across OEM, Ofgem, TSOs and contractors.
- To be a self-starter, innovative and proactive
