Are you a junior plumbing looking for access to good hands-on training, career progression opportunities, and the chance to work as part of a large, and successful team? Look no further! This is a great opportunity for a junior plumber to learn new skills, progress, but also to be busy at all times.

  • Mon to Fri (8am to 5pm)
  • Static site in West London
  • Salary up to £30k per annum

**Routine Maintenance

  1. Inspect Plumbing Systems: Regularly inspect plumbing systems, including pipes, valves, and fixtures, to identify potential issues.
  2. Preventive Maintenance: Perform preventive maintenance tasks, such as cleaning drains, checking water pressure, and inspecting water heaters, to prevent breakdowns.

Repairs and Troubleshooting

  1. Emergency Repairs: Respond promptly to plumbing emergencies, such as leaks, clogs, or burst pipes, to minimize disruption to hospital operations.
  2. Diagnose Problems: Use diagnostic tools and techniques to identify the root causes of plumbing issues and determine the most effective repair solutions.
  3. Repair Fixtures: Repair or replace faulty plumbing fixtures, such as faucets, toilets, sinks, and showers.

Installation

  1. Install New Plumbing Systems: Install new plumbing systems or upgrade existing systems as part of hospital renovations or expansions.
  2. Fixture Installation: Install new plumbing fixtures and ensure they are properly connected to the hospital's plumbing system.

Compliance and Safety

  1. Adhere to Codes and Regulations: Ensure all plumbing work complies with local, state, and federal codes and regulations, as well as hospital policies.
  2. Safety Protocols: Follow safety protocols to protect themselves, hospital staff, and patients from hazards associated with plumbing work.

Requirements

  • Min NVQ Level 2 in Plumbing
  • 1 year experience in commercial plumbing install/maintenance
