We are seeking a dedicated Mathematics Teacher to join our secondary education team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in mathematics education and prior experience teaching at the secondary level. Day-to-day of the role:
- Deliver engaging mathematics lessons to secondary school students, ensuring that each student is able to understand and apply mathematical concepts.
- Prepare lesson plans, teaching materials, and assignments that align with the curriculum.
- Assess and evaluate students' progress through tests, assignments, and examinations.
- Provide individual support and feedback to students to facilitate their academic growth.
- Collaborate with colleagues to develop new teaching materials and coordinate activities.
- Participate in staff meetings, educational conferences, and teacher training workshops.
- Maintain up-to-date records of students' grades, attendance, and overall performance.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- A relevant degree in mathematics or mathematics education.
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching certification.
- Proven experience teaching mathematics at the secondary education level.
- Strong understanding of the mathematics curriculum and teaching methodologies.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to create an inclusive and motivating classroom environment.
