This firm provide audit, accounting and taxation services to a wide range of businesses from SMEs to large multinational companies. As part of the corporate services team, you will be working on a varied portfolio of clients. The role will include:
- Preparation management accounts, statutory accounts, and VAT returns for a wide range of organisations in compliance with the firm's and statutory procedures.
- Implementing accounting software for clients.
- Training for junior members of the team throughout the year and work on improvements to accounting methodologies and to improve efficiencies.
- Provide general accounting services and assistance to clients in the preparation of accounts and VAT returns, for example preparing working papers for management or statutory accounts.
- Take full ownership of assignments and see it through to completion, solving issues as and when they arise.
If you have the following this role could well be for you:
- Are AAT qualified or ACCA part qualified
- Have client facing experience
- Have experience of preparing statutory and management accounts and VAT returns
- Have experience supporting and training junior team members
- Have experience of delivering or operating cloud solutions
- Excellent communication skills
- Knowledge of UK GAAP, specifically an understanding of FRS102 (1A) and FRS105
- Excellent knowledge of accounting software including Sage, QuickBooks and Xero
