Documentation Technician required for an Oil & Gas related engineering business in the Team Valley area. This is a full-time permanent role.
The Role
Working in a new, modern office, you will be part of a team of Project Engineers, supporting them as they oversee a wide range of subsea projects.
Each project needs careful oversight to ensure that each component has an accurate and complete document pack that will enable traceability should it become required.
Duties:
The coordination and collation of internal and external documentation, required to meet customer quality requirements;
Review of vendor documentation to ensure compliance with the required specifications of each component;
Production of accurate documentation packs to support on time delivery of components;
Management of queries, ensuring timely resolution;
Supporting customers and third party inspectors whilst they are on site and also remotely.
The working hours are 7.30am to 4.30pm. There is free, on-site parking and a competitive range of employee benefits.
The Person
Applicants must have an Engineering/Manufacturing/Construction background as the ability to evaluate technical quality documentation is essential. Additionally, strong IT and communication skills are also essential, coupled with a customer focus and a ‘right first-time' mentality.
Remuneration
£28,000 to £32,000 per annum.
