Job purpose in the Senior National Account Manager role:
To build on existing relationships, acquire new retail clients and grow into new markets by identifying gaps, presenting concepts, and working with your in-house teams to deliver best in class beauty ranges. Building a genuine reputation as the go-to supplier of purposeful, meaningful, and highly commercial beauty products that deliver results.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute your annual sales plan in support of company objectives.
- Manage and expand existing accounts and establish new accounts.
- Constantly search for new opportunities (retail and product) and identify enhancements within the existing product offering.
- Work collaboratively with your inhouse marketing and product teams, informing them of potential range opportunities identified from your network.
- Keep up to date on all product ranges and concepts in development, communicating these to your retail network and gaining valuable feedback.
- Deliver sales presentations to your retail buyer network.
- Maintain close and genuine relationships through delivering your best-in-class service and ranges.
- Negotiate win-win deals and closing sales when appropriate.
- On-time deliveries of samples, quotes and orders.
- Provide customers with accurate pricing and lead-times for all new projects.
- Oversee and manage all customer needs and liaise cohesively with all other departments on the status of new and open orders.
- Keep senior leadership informed by submitting activity and results reports, such as forecasts, P&L information.
- Resolve any customer complaints by investigating problems; developing solutions; preparing reports; making recommendations.
- Represent the company at tradeshows and networking events.
- Other duties as requested.
Requirements in this Senior National Account Manager role:
- 3+ years sales experience in the beauty industry
- Well connected with a strong existing reputation.
- 1+ years private label experience, ideally within a contract beauty manufacturer.
- Highly interested in the beauty industry and beauty brands
- High energy, hungry, detail focused, action-oriented contributor.
- Capable of preparing accurate analysis, sale reports across and forecasts base.
- Must be self-motivated and detail oriented to direct own work.
- Team player able to establish effective working relationships.
