Our fabulous client one of the world's leading international logistics services providers by road, sea, air, rail and inland waterway are looking for two Airfreight Import Operators to join their fun and hardworking team at Heathrow airport.
You must have a minimum of 5 years' experience and will be part of a small team of specialist in this area of logistics.
In addition, it will be essential to have end to end and start to finish, airfreight imports. You will be responsible for, and will need to have already gained experience with the following,
- Customs Clearance of airfreight shipments using CDS (Sequoia)
- Coordinating with handling agents at LHR to obtain release of cargo
- Arrange collections from LHR and deliveries to clients, nationwide
- Quoting clients and overseas agents
- Administration including raising invoices, and passing suppliers invoices for payment
- Strong understanding of quality customer service, as this is what our business is built on.
Working hours are 09.00-17.00, Monday to Friday with great benefits, with an occasional need for an out of hours clearance, however you will have the tools to work from home, and we will pay a call out fee for this type of additional work.
