Our remarkable client are seeking a talented Associate to join their growing employment practice based in london.
The position will primarily involve providing guidance on a diverse array of employment matters, encompassing both contentious and non-contentious tasks such as:
- Facilitating reorganizations
- Managing disciplinary procedures and addressing grievances
- Contributing to M&A transactions by conducting due diligence and offering corporate support
- Crafting various employment documents including contracts, handbooks, consultancy agreements, NDAs, and settlement agreements
- Handling TUPE matters
- Addressing employment status queries
- Providing regular advice on day-to-day employment law concerns
- Engaging in Tribunal and Court proceedings
The Individual
- Have both contentious and non contentious experience and ideally will have acted for both employers and senior employees.
- Strong academics with high quality training and experience
- Candidates with some exposure to the Employment Tribunal process are preferred.
- Ambitious, technically strong, hard working, and a good team player.
- Confident and sociable as well as discrete when dealing directly with clients.
Personal skills
- A self motivated team player with strong communication skills
- Ability to be proactive and reactive in addressing clients' affairs and requirements
- Achieve minimum time targets and billing requirements
- Ability to keep abreast with changes in legislation and market developments
- A practical working knowledge of IT
- Flexibility, dedication and ambition are essential attributes.
