A leading contractor is seeking an experienced HSE advisor to join their team. scheme based Wiltshire. This is a exceptional opportunity to join a leading contractor with a highly experienced and longstanding team.

About the role of Health, Safety & Environmental Advisor

This opportunity will be site based across Wiltshire, Oxfordshire & Hampshire working on a array of impressive schemes to add to your portfolio including Rail, Aviation, highways & heavy infrastructure, with works ranging from £10M - £100M.

Responsibilities for Health, Safety & Environmental Advisor

  • Direct and ensure projects are following the relevant H&S standards on site and issue any training if necessary.
  • Obtain and maintain strong working relationships with individuals within the business, site team and client
  • Carry out regular site inspections and visits
  • Assist and mentor more junior advisor
  • Ensure Site Management is aware of and provided with up to date SHE documentation
  • Assist with the preparation of various SHE Awareness briefings, toolbox talks, alerts etc. in line with operational requirements.

Requirements for Health, Safety & Environmental Advisor

  • Previous experience within the constructions sector is essential
  • Strong communication skills both written and verbal
  • Relevant NEBOSH qualification and preferably a degree in civil engineering
