Senior Project Manager - InsurTech, Insurance - A Must

This is a Remote Working Role.

My Client is an award-winning digital solutions that allow insurers to provide world-class claims service at a lower cost. Their all-in-one platform, designed by industry experts, helps insurers achieve increased customer satisfaction, improved fraud detection, faster claims resolution, reduced IT costs, and major operational expenditure reduction.

My clients platform enables key intelligence extraction from unstructured data, on-demand fraud detection, and self-serve functionality, making claims processes faster and more efficient. It empower insurers by putting business practitioners back in control of their processes without relying on traditional IT.

They seek an experienced, Senior Project Manager who MUST have an InsurTech or Insurance background. You will maybe from an SME or Corporate background with the ability to communicate at all levels. You must be a team player.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage internal and external customer projects with a focus on timely, high-quality delivery.
  • Liaise with insurers' project teams to ensure seamless collaboration and project success.
  • Oversee projects related to platform upgrades and research into AI uses within claims.
  • Establish and enhance Project Management practices and governance.
  • Serve as the primary liaison between the company and senior stakeholders.
  • Work across all aspects of the business, including collaborating with the Agile software development team.
  • Coordinate with an offshore development team of 8 and an internal team of 11.
  • Utilise Jira and Agile methodologies for effective project management.
  • Collaborate with delivery leads to ensure cohesive project support and execution.
  • Drive continuous improvement in project management practices.

Key Performance Indicators (KPIs):

  • Project Delivery: On-time and on-budget project completion.
  • Client Satisfaction: Positive feedback from clients and stakeholders.
  • Team Efficiency: High productivity and effective collaboration.
  • Process Improvement: Successful implementation of best practices.
  • Quality Assurance: Deliverables with minimal defects or issues.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience as a Senior Project Manager in InsurTech, insurance, or software development.
  • Knowledge of FNOL processes and consumer insurance products (Home, Motor, Pet, Travel).
  • Proficiency in Jira and Agile methodologies.
  • Strong self-motivation and ability to work independently.
  • Excellent communication skills and experience interacting with senior stakeholders.
  • Relevant certifications (PMP, PRINCE2) preferred.

You will have excellent communication skills and excellent attention to detail is a must.
