Grove Primary School is on the lookout for a HTLA Teaching Assistant - Grove, tasked with aiding KS1 students within KS2 (Year 3 - Year 6).
As the KS2 (Year 3 - Year 6) Oxfordshire students approach their SATs in the forthcoming years, your role will involve steering them through their Numeracy, Literacy, and Science studies.
Responsibilities of the HTLA Teaching Assistant - Grove include:
- Supporting Oxfordshire primary school pupils, potentially in a general classroom environment or one-on-one with specific students, under the guidance of the KS1 class teacher.
- Aiding KS1 educators with resource management and preparation, as well as classroom upkeep.
- Displaying outstanding listening skills.
- Showing resilience and assuming consistent responsibility for assigned educational activities.
- Establishing a connection with the Oxfordshire KS1 students and their parents/guardians, proving your reliability.
Requirements:
- Mandatory DBS disclosure.
- Higher Level Teaching Assistant Qualification (HTLA) or 8 - 10 years of experience in a Teaching Assistant capacity.
