Warehousing and Stock Controller

We are currently seeking a dedicated and organised Warehousing and Stock Controller to join the team at our client's organisation. With their exceptional attention to detail and strong organisational skills, the ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our client's warehouse and stock control processes.

Responsibilities:

Take charge of all activities related to goods preparation, warehousing, storage, receipt, and despatch.
Provide support to the Operations Planner with stock management and material replenishment.
Collaborate closely with the Production and Logistics teams to ensure a flexible resource allocation.
Assist the production team in achieving and maintaining HSE targets.

Key Responsibilities:

Ensure fluidity and safety in storage areas and movements.
Assess the skills and competencies of the stores team.
Prioritise and schedule workload.
Collaborate with senior stores operatives to determine training needs.
Manage and implement change effectively.
Serve as a key user for SAP and labelling systems.
Control hazardous waste material and ensure safe disposal.
Oversee warehouses and storage bays on site.
Manage offsite stock.
Ensure safe use of FLTs and liaise with service providers accordingly.
Adhere to transport and ADR regulations.

Qualifications & Experience:

Previous experience or knowledge in undertaking Root Cause Analysis is advantageous.
Knowledge or experience of ISO90001 or equivalent quality standards.
NEBOSH certified.
IMDG/IATA qualification.
Excellent communication skills, both internal and external.
Strong organisational skills.
High attention to detail.
Proficient in IT, with knowledge of business systems (e.g., SAP) and software packages (Outlook, Excel, Word, Entropy, and Planet).
