Are you an experienced Accounts Manager looking for a fresh challenge with exciting career prospects? We are working with a well-established accountancy practice in Blackburn, and we're seeking a dedicated Accounts Manager to join their team. For the right candidate, this role offers a clear pathway to future partnership or directorship.
The Role: As an Accounts Manager, you will take a lead role in the practice, with key responsibilities including:
- Reviewing and overseeing the work of junior staff, providing mentorship, training, and support to ensure high standards
- Managing a diverse portfolio of clients, acting as their main point of contact and delivering outstanding service
- Preparing and reviewing accounts, tax returns, and financial statements in line with regulatory requirements
- Offering proactive financial advice to clients and building strong, long-term relationships
- Ensuring compliance with relevant accounting standards and legislation
What We're Looking For:
- ACA/ACCA qualified (or equivalent)
- A proven track record in a similar role within an accountancy practice
- Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to manage and develop junior staff
- A client-focused mindset with excellent interpersonal skills
