Opportunity:

My client is an e-commerce business located in Knowsley, Merseyside. They operate in a diverse range of B2B and B2C sectors and currently have nine websites spanning several industries some of which need an amazing, knowledgeable individual to drive sales and further growth.

Working with some of the best-known brands in their respective fields in the UK, they have an extensive supplier portfolio and large catalogues to manage and administer.

This job is a great opportunity for someone with a Sales/Customer Service role or Field Sales Role background We are only considering candidates from this kind of background.

Role:

  • Deliver excellent customer service
  • Build and maintain successful partnerships with customers, colleagues and suppliers and focus on the achievement of long-term customer /supplier loyalty
  • Consistently generate profitable outcomes for the business, via the websites, phone and chat, by effectively using a range of techniques and resources
  • Identify and action appropriate steps to rectify any shortfalls
  • Manage customer and supplier queries in relation to invoices, orders or stock
  • Understand the customer cycle and developing those relationships
  • Embracing all of our digital channels to enhance the customer offering by proactively promoting the websites.
  • Collaborating with customers, colleagues and suppliers by supporting with promotions, sales events, supplier promotions and new product launches
  • Utilising IT systems such Microsoft Office, Teams, Chat to support the customer experience
  • Supporting in other areas of the business as required

Experience:

  • Experience of working in a highly competitive customer focused role (B2B, B2C, pref e-commerce)
  • Taking inbound incoming customer enquiries via phone, email, and LiveChat.
  • Providing timely and accurate sales quotations, stock checking and product advice.
  • Owning customer journeys from start-to-finish, liaising and building relationships with suppliers in order to provide updates and resolutions
  • Pro-actively following up enquiries and quotations and chasing up suppliers on customer related issues.
  • Processing a high volume of orders efficiently and with a keen eye for detail to ensure accuracy.
  • To be customer centric with a customer service background
  • To have had experience of working in a fast-paced role, whilst maintaining a consistent eye for detail
  • A flexible approach and an ability to work under pressure
  • An ability to recognise sales opportunities
  • An ability to embrace change and new technologies
