Our client is seeking a reliable, dedicated Warehouse Operator / Delivery Driver to join their team in delivering authentic Italian products. You will play a vital role in the daily operations such as managing inventory, ensuring timely deliveries, and maintaining warehouse integrity.
Key Responsibilities:
- Receive, inspect, and organise incoming shipments of Italian food products.
- Maintain a clean, organised warehouse, adhering to food safety standards.
- Safely operate forklift to move and stack pallets.
- Prepare accurate customer orders for delivery.
- Conduct routine inventory checks and report discrepancies promptly.
Delivery Driver:
- Safely operate delivery vehicles for timely product transportation.
- Plan efficient delivery routes.
- Load and unload products securely.
- Provide exceptional customer service during deliveries.
- Maintain accurate delivery records and perform routine vehicle inspections.
Qualifications:
- College or equivalent.
- Valid clean driver's license.
- Warehouse and delivery driving experience, preferably in the food industry.
- Forklift certification and experience.
- Strong attention to detail and organisational skills.
- Excellent communication and customer service abilities.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
- Physical ability to lift and move heavy packages.
You will be able to lift objects/boxes, pick and pack products in a timely manner and have a clean Full UK Driving Licence. You will have an in-date Forklift Licence.
