Role Overview
Reporting to the Payroll Manager, the Junior Payroll Coordinator will assist in providing a proactive, responsive, and quality-driven payroll service. You will ensure the timely and accurate processing of the weekly payroll, handle temporary worker timesheets, perform data entry, and respond to basic candidate queries. This role is perfect for someone who is focused, detail-oriented, and proactive.
Key Responsibilities
- Accurately input and process data required for the weekly payroll.
- Chase timesheets and approvals within the required timeframes
- Answer payroll-related queries and escalate when appropriate.
- Update payroll records as needed.
- Foster effective working relationships, collaboration, and communication across the business
- Provide timely and proactive responses to all inquiries.
Requirements
- Previous data entry experience, ideally in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent IT skills, particularly in MS Excel
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- High attention to detail with the ability to produce accurate work under pressure.
- Strong numerical skills.
