Customer Support Coordinator

Our client is looking to recruit a customer support coordinator, this is a fully office-based role working within an engaging team. Due to busy work loads the client is looking for someone to start asap.

Job Overview:
Within this role you will be responsible for building long-lasting relationships with clients, delivering exceptional customer service, and maximising customer satisfaction while realising the full benefits of our service provisions.

Responsibilities:

  • Be the first line of contact for all customer queries and requests.
  • Effectively present and discuss the company brand to existing and potential customers, conveying an image of quality, integrity, and understanding of customer needs.
  • Be an integral part of the internal team managing the workflow to meet customer deadlines.
  • Address customer questions, complaints, and concerns immediately and facilitate a satisfactory resolution.
  • Produce and review quotations and other documentation for accuracy before submitting to the customer.
  • Contact external suppliers to facilitate outsourcing when required, sourcing the most time-efficient and cost-effective solutions.
  • Communicate effectively with internal departments such as the Laboratory, Logistics, UK Sales, etc., to ensure all customer objectives are met and all potential sales avenues are explored.
  • Reach out to old or lapsed customers to explore opportunities for regaining business.

Person / Experience Required:

  • Experience in a customer service, administration, and/or sales provision environment is essential.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and oral, are essential.
  • Proficiency in IT skills and knowledge of the Office Suite is essential (especially Microsoft Office Excel).
  • Proven ability to identify and meet customers' needs and requirements.
  • Self-motivated and team-oriented.
  • Ability to work with minimum supervision in a busy and demanding environment.
  • Ability to organise your time effectively and perform multiple tasks efficiently and in line with specific timelines.
