Hours - Monday to Friday 37.5 hrs

Salary - £32k to £37k DOE plus good benefits

Our Kettering based client is a well-known organisation in the consumer products industry that provides valuable products and services to help businesses improve their supply chains. For over 20 years, their Digital Division has created software that helps manufacturers understand and control their production costs. These software tools are widely used because they provide important information for managing businesses and help manufacturers focus on continuous improvement.

The company has recently upgraded these systems to a cloud-based model (SaaS) and is looking for a team member experienced in lean methodology. This role is part of the company's growth and succession plans, and the this person will advise, analyse, and implement improvements both internally and for large global organisations.

They are seeking a Lean Practitioner with a background in process improvement who will become an expert in their software applications.

Responsibilities include:

  • Becoming an expert in the company's manufacturing software, used in factories worldwide.
  • Managing the installation and setup of the systems for customers, both remotely and on-site globally.
  • Providing technical support and training to help customers get the most out of the software.
  • Applying lean methodology to improve processes internally and for customers.
  • Assisting sales and marketing teams with demonstrations and helping new customers understand the benefits of the company's systems.
  • Gathering feedback and assessing customer experiences with the software.
  • Helping to develop new features and improvements for the software systems.
  • Testing product improvements before they are released.

The ideal candidate should be willing to travel extensively and have:

  • Experience with lean six sigma, especially in implementing digital technologies for data management.
  • A Lean Six Sigma certification (Green Belt or higher).
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to train and teach in a technical environment.
  • The ability to build strong relationships with customers from different cultures.
  • Good problem-solving skills, proactive, IT-savvy, and passionate about customer service.
