Role Overview: As a Lease Coordinator you will be an integral part of the team, responsible for managing lease renewals and ensuring the continuity of their resident's tenancies. You will play a crucial role in maintaining high occupancy rates and maximising resident satisfaction by facilitating smooth and efficient renewal processes. This is an excellent opportunity for a detail-oriented and proactive individual with a passion for customer service and property management.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Proactively engage with tenants nearing the end of their lease agreements to discuss renewal options and negotiate terms
  • Prepare and send lease renewal notices in accordance with company policies and legal requirements
  • Liaise with landlords and tenants to address any concerns or requests related to lease renewals
  • Coordinate property inspections and maintenance activities as needed to prepare for lease renewals
  • Update and maintain accurate records of lease renewal agreements and related documentation
  • Monitor rental market trends and advise management on pricing strategies and lease terms
  • Collaborate with the leasing team to identify opportunities for up-selling and cross-selling additional services to tenants
  • Provide exceptional customer service to residents, addressing inquiries and resolving issues in a timely and professional manner
  • Stay informed about relevant legislation and industry best practices related to lease renewals and tenant rights

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in property management, leasing, or customer service roles preferred
  • Strong communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to build rapport and handle difficult conversations diplomatically
  • Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities effectively
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite and property management software
  • Knowledge of landlord-tenant laws and regulations, particularly related to lease agreements and renewals
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment
  • Proactive and solution-oriented mindset, with a commitment to delivering exceptional service to residents
  • Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and work under tight deadlines
