A rare opportunity with an award winning business has become available within their impressive Peterborough office. The opportunity is for a Finance Manager role on a permanent basis.
As the successful candidate you will manage a team of finance assistants, ensuring team KPIs and service levels are met in a high volume fast paced environment.
Key responsibilities
- Lead a team of finance assistants to ensure timely processing of all invoices
- Ensure credit control collection targets are met weekly and monthly
- Proactively manage relationships both internally and externally and have clear and open communication at all levels
- Identify and implementation methods to streamline and automate processes
- Monitor team processes and recommend corrective action
- Lead by example within the department, demonstrating values and behaviours
Skills and experience
- People Management experience
- High levels of accuracy and attention to detail
- Ability to work under pressure
- Advanced excel skills
- Ability to manage time and prioritise
- Sales and purchase ledger knowledge
- Good verbal and written communication skills
