Assembly Team Leader / Gerrards Cross / £45,000 to £48,000
Are you an experienced Assembly Team Leader? You could be progressing your career at a world class and very successful Manufacturing company who have been awarded multiple queens awards and provide a range of complex safety equipment for the Aerospace / Defence markets.
Based in a busy assembly department, you will be running a team of mechanical assemblers within an precision aerospace industry.
Location / Hours:
You'll be based close to Gerrards Cross; you'll need to be able to drive there or be on close public transport links. Free parking available. 8am to 5pm Monday to Thursday, with a 12pm finish on Friday.
Assembly Team Leader Duties and Responsibilities:
- To supervise a team of operators and ensure that output and production targets are met
- Ensure that the production schedule is adhered to in accordance with the relevant SOP's work instructions and Health and Safety requirements
- Drive improvement activities such as 5s and TOC etc
- Plan and allocate work to maximise the teams output
- Provide progress updates through regular work meetings etc
- Appraisals and training plans for staff members
- Ensure that all Health and Safety regulations are followed at all times
- Review all manual handing procedures
Assembly Team Leader Profile:
- Strong, proven experience leading a assembly team within a manufacturing environment
- Experience handling team output and handling team meetings
- Good knowledge of Risk Assessments and COSH
- Experience with dealing with internal disciplinary
- Apprentice served or engineering education is preferred but not essential
