Client Accountant - Commercial Real Estate. OUR CLIENT is a well-established firm of Chartered Surveyors who have been operating in the UK for over 50 years. Their client base ranges from corporate occupiers to property investors with portfolios mainly across central London. They are now looking for a Client Accountant to join their prestigious commercial property accounting team.
THE ROLE reporting to the Head of Accounts will require one to fulfil the following duties:
- Taking responsibilities of an allocated commercial property portfolio.
- Setting up clients, properties, units, leases and debtors onto the property management system.
- Performing bank reconciliations and correcting any reconciling items.
- Ensuring delivery of client reporting and ensuring rent pay overs are transferred.
- Inputting budgets onto system and updating the accounts.
- Reconciling service charge year ends.
- Preparing cash reconciliations.
- Preparing VAT reports and submitting any VAT transfers to HMRC or client.
- Setting up tenant deposit accounts.
- Attending client meetings.
THE PERSON: To apply for this role, you will:
- Have some previous experience with preparing year-end service charge accounting.
- QUBE /Y ARDI or TRAMPS knowledge.
