Our client is currently recruiting for an experienced Senior Shift Engineer based within Leeds, LS9
The role is to work alongside a dynamic maintenance team to deliver the required services, ensuring the Hospital is maintained to the highest standard.
Available shifts / Locations below:
- Postcode: LS9 7TF
- The shifts are 4 days then 4 off then 4 nights 4 off.
- 06:00am till 18:00pm and 18:00pm to 06:00am
- £19.17 including holiday pay, however you have the option to accrue
- This position is PAYE
- Paid Weekly, Every Friday before 5 PM.
Skills required:
- Must have at least 2 years previous Shift engineer experience
- DBS certificate or equivalent Required
- Punctual, reliable, and trustworthy
- Able to manage time effectively.
- Ability to work both alone and in a team.
- Awareness of health and safety procedures
Must have experience in the following:
- To be able to lead the shift team and provide support to working colleagues.
- To be able to carry out maintenance, repairs, testing and inspection of building, mechanical and electrical services, associated systems, plant and equipment in accordance with relevant standards and operational procedures.
- Be able to maintain, service and repair a wide range of the building services listed below.
- Experience working with heating and domestic water services
- Experience working general Electrical services such as lighting and power
- Air handling units
- Low voltage electrical distribution system and switchgear
- Emergency standby generating plant
- Fire alarm systems and emergency lighting.
- Electrical control systems
- Building Management System
- Manage Plant Rooms, including Steam Pipes
