£28,000 Per Annum

Our amazing client based in Evesham is looking for a Quality Assurance Technician to join their busy and vibrant team in order to ensure that safe and quality products are manufactured and practices in line with appropriate regulations are followed and maintained with a proactive outlook.

Main Responsibilities -

  • Maintain quality standards in line with company and global regulations.
  • Assist in customer complaint investigations ensuring preventative measures are implemented and maintained.
  • Ensure quality assurance and operations paperwork are available and correct versions are in place - checks must be completed daily.
  • Ensure that all quality assurance tasks are completed within a timely manner to a high standard.
  • Assist in RCA activities to identify and rectify any areas which could cause defective products.
  • Provide support and guidance to operations staff to enable the production and distribution of quality and safe goods.
  • Ensure that all micro sampling / swabbing is carried out as per schedule and that all out of spec results are logged and communicated to relevant parties.
  • Assist in carrying out site validation activities.
  • Assist with AD-HOC duties.
  • Attend meetings or training commensurate to role.
  • Work in accordance with the company health and safety policy.

Requirements -

  • Previous experience within the food industry.
  • Experience in a quality assurance or quality control role within the food industry.
  • Familiarity with food production processes, standards, and regulations.
  • Experience with food safety standards such as HACCP, GMP, ISO 22000, and BRC.
  • Conducting internal and external audits to ensure compliance with regulatory and company standards.
  • Proficiency in performing and overseeing routine food product testing and inspections.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills for reporting and training purposes.
