Pertemps Dudley are currently recruiting for a Site Assistant, on behalf of a school in the Dudley area. As a Site Asssistant, you will be working along side the schools Site Manager, contributing towards the maintenance of the school site, buildings and grounds.
Job duties:
- To undertake site improvement works as required, including painting and decorating and small build works.
- To fix/install notice boards, shelving, replace light fittings, repair water leaks, unblock drains, etc.
- To participate in undertaking small build project improvement works eg. Classroom/office conversions and refurbishment.
- Ground maintenance which will include clearing of leaves.
- Ensuring fences and gates are safe and secure.
Skills and experience:
- Demonstrate high levels of organisation
- Experience in a similar environment as a Site Assistant/Caretaker/Labourer
- Ideally holds an in-date Enhanced DBS, if not held, happy to be put through one
- Ability to work in a team or independently
Hours of work:
- Monday-Friday 6am - 1:30pm OR 8am - 3:30pm.
