Accounts Assistant £25,000 - £28,000 + Bonus & study support
Aila is excited to be exclusively partnered with a leading, fast-paced international business in Berkhamsted on the recruitment of an Accounts Assistant to join the team on a permanent basis.

Reporting to the Financial Controller, this role will support with end-to-end Accounts Payable predominantly but will have the potential to progress into assisting with the preparation of management accounts for the right profile further down the line.
You will have the ability to work well under pressure, have a methodical approach to work and be diligent and professional with excellent attention to detail. It is also essential that you have already had exposure within finance and have worked within an Accounts Payable position with the desire to add value into this settled team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Processing invoices, credit cards and expenses through to payment
- Supplier management/discrepancy resolutions and reconciliations
- Ad hoc reporting
- Assisting with year-end audits
- Assisting with cash book entries and bank reconciliations
- Processing payments contractors
- Intercompany journals and reconciliations
- Fixed assets registration and posting depreciation.
