Regulatory Reporting Analyst

Job Description

Our client is a multinational bank, and financial services organisation based in London. They are an FCA and PRA regulated business offering a range of business and personal banking products and services. This role will be joining a busy Regulatory Reporting team, as they look to improve processes and adapt to new regulations. You will be responsible for a wide range of regulatory reporting within the Bank. This will include preparing and maintaining detailed processes, systems and reports in order to ensure accurate & timely Regulatory Reporting.

Responsibilities:

  • Reviewing and preparation of regulatory returns including Capital adequacy and Statistical returns with accuracy, for timely reporting to UK regulators
  • Understanding and staying informed of the existing and new Regulatory Reporting guidelines including Capital adequacy
  • Preparation of the Pillar 3 disclosure report for UK entity
  • Working on regulatory reporting automation projects for UK and Head Office reporting
  • Variance analysis of movement in regulatory returns on monthly / quarterly basis
  • Assisting in providing explanation to queries from regulators
  • Providing data to external auditors and internal auditors and working with them to resolve audit queries
  • Updating processes and policies related to regulatory reporting
  • Liaising with various teams (including Treasury Control & Services Group) in the Bank for timely completion of month end / quarter end reporting.

You will be:

  • Part qualified ACA/ACCA/CIMA (or equivalent)
  • Minimum of 1 years' experience, within Regulatory Reporting in a regulated financial services business
  • Able to understand regulatory reporting software
  • Strong on Microsoft Excel
  • Confident understanding of the trial balance
