The Role - Year 4 Teacher
We are seeking an enthusiastic and experienced Year 4 Teacher to join a fantastic School I Croydon starting in September 2024. This full-time role requires a teacher who is passionate about education and eager to contribute to the development of young learners. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering high-quality teaching and learning experiences in a vibrant and engaging classroom environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Lesson Planning and Delivery: Develop and deliver creative and differentiated lessons that meet the needs of all students in Year 4.
- Assessment and Feedback: Monitor student progress, provide constructive feedback, and set appropriate goals to support their academic and personal development.
- Classroom Management: Establish a positive classroom culture that fosters respect, curiosity, and a love of learning.
- Collaboration: Work closely with other staff members, parents, and carers to enhance the educational experience and well-being of students.
- Professional Development: Engage in ongoing professional learning and participate in school-wide initiatives to continually improve teaching practices.
Requirements - Year 4 Teacher
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
- Experience teaching at the primary level, ideally within Key Stage 2.
- Strong knowledge of the Year 4 curriculum and effective instructional strategies.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
- A commitment to promoting inclusivity and supporting all students to reach their potential.
- Able to commute to Croydon
