Opportunity for an experienced Senior Mechanical Design Engineer, for an established, dynamic and fast paced manufacturer based in Somerset.

Role - Working as part of a small team, you will be the lead designer in the development of mechanical systems, you will be used to managing and leading engineering projects, delivering innovative solutions, ensuring industry standards and compliance. Your responsibilities will include designing, simulating, and testing new mechanical components and systems, using advanced software tools to create detailed 3D models and technical drawings.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field
- Extensive experience in mechanical design / simulation software - SolidWorks, CATIA, Siemens NX
- Proven experience with FEA tools such as ANSYS
- Proficiency in 3D modelling, GD&T and creating detailed technical drawings
- Experience in electro-mechanical product development is advantageous
