Employed Mortgage Broker - VOLUME LEADS (OR BACK BOOK) PROVIDED

Are you a talented and experienced Mortgage and Protection Broker, looking for an employed role with leads provided?

Our client is a successful, well-established mortgage business in the North East of England, specialising in new build mortgages, re-mortgages, buy-to-let mortgages and mortgage insurance.

With an extensive number of existing clients and circa 500 new leads per month on new build, they have an immediate and ongoing requirement for Mortgage and Protection Brokers, responsible for either previous clients (back-book) or New Build. Monday to Friday hours are available for back-book and some weekend working is essential for New Build (days off in lieu).

Full admin support is provided and commissions are paid upon exchange.

Start dates are scheduled from July through to December 2024 - early applications are invited.

Responsibilities:-

- Options to work either on New Build or, on back-book of existing clients
- Placing mortgages & re-mortgages for both new and existing clients
- Identifying client needs
- Sourcing mortgages from a comprehensive range of lenders from across the market
- Identifying additional sales opportunities
- Cross-selling protection and general insurance
- Working within client and builder deadlines - to achieve client requirements
- Provide excellent customer care
- Keeping up to date with regulation and financial products
- To uphold company values and act in accordance with FCA regulations

**Salary: Basic £25,000 increasing to £28,000 plus 18/20% commission (realistic OTE 50-100K)

Qualifications

- CeMAP (or equivalent)

Candidate Requirements

  • Must have experience as a Mortgage and Protection Broker
  • Hold CAS (ideal, however not essential, for experienced New Build Brokers)
  • Possess great communication skills
  • Able to work both under pressure and at a fast pace
  • Have the desire to be successful
