Exciting Opportunity: Fast Rescue Craft / Marine Engineer in Lowestoft! Our client, a leading marine services provider, is expanding its operations and is seeking a skilled Fast Rescue Craft / Marine Engineer to join their team in Lowestoft.
Key Responsibilities:
- Efficient Repairs: Perform timely and safe repairs on fast rescue and Daughter craft within the fleet of Emergency Response and Rescue vessels or in-house repair workshops.
- High Standards: Ensure all duties are executed to the highest standards, maintaining the integrity and reliability of the fleet.
- Maintenance Records: Keep the Planned Maintenance records up to date as per company approvals.
- Out-of-Hours Support: Offer critical support outside regular working hours when necessary.
- QHSE Policies: Actively promote and adhere to the company's Quality, Health, Safety, and Environmental policies.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Engineering Background: A solid foundation in marine or general engineering, with knowledge of light vehicles, motorcycles, or HGV mechanics.
- Engine Knowledge: Proficiency in handling petrol 2/4 stroke engines or diesel engines.
- Electrics and Marine Knowledge: Familiarity with 12-volt electrics and the marine industry is a plus.
- Computer Skills: Computer literacy is essential.
- Driving Licence: A full driving licence is required.
