Location: Workington
Working Hours: 10:00 am to 2:00 pm, 5 days out of 7 on a rotating shift
Pay Rate: £11.44 per hour
Duration: Temporary until mid-September
Join our lovely family business and make a difference in a warm and welcoming care home environment! We are looking for a dedicated Cleaner/Laundry Person to support our team temporarily until mid-September.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform daily cleaning tasks to maintain a clean and hygienic environment throughout the care home.
- Handle laundry duties, including washing, drying, and folding linens and residents' clothing.
- Ensure cleaning supplies are stocked and properly stored.
- Follow health and safety guidelines to ensure the well-being of residents and staff.
- Assist with other housekeeping tasks as needed.
Requirements:
- Previous experience in a cleaning or laundry role is preferred.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness.
- Ability to work efficiently and independently.
- Flexibility to work on a rotating shift, including weekends.
- Compassionate and respectful attitude towards residents.
