Director Enterprise Platforms & Integration - Digital & IT

Acting as a point of confluence for IT and Digital delivery across the groups change portfolios you will influence and oversight the strategic execution of IT related delivery in our clients' major projects and programmes that support organisations 's mission.

You will play a pivotal role in ensuring that group programmes are shaped, incepted and delivered to ensure they integrate with the future state IT reference architecture and design to operate principles.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Leadership and Oversight: Lead and oversee the group IT Digital delivery management community, providing guidance and direction to ensure alignment with organisational goals and objectives. Direct leadership of an ideation and inception group including User Researchers, UCD consultants, Agile BAs and Service Designers.
  2. Prioritisation and Planning: Collaborate with stakeholders to prioritise IT requirements on major programmes, ensuring that resources are allocated effectively to deliver impactful results.
  3. Structural Design and Optimisation: Shape the structure of IT delivery teams across major programmes, optimising team composition and capabilities to enhance efficiency and effectiveness. Take a lead role in the governance of Group programmes representing IT at strategic boards.
  4. Governance and Standards: In conjunction with Enterprise Architecture own and iterate IT delivery governance, standards, and practices, ensuring adherence to industry government functional standards, best practices for service design, delivery and integration as well as applicable regulatory requirements.
  5. Domain Leadership: Leadership of the Enterprise Platforms and Digital Content domains.

Skills and experience:

  • Proven experience in senior leadership roles within Digital and Technology Platforms, Digital & Platform Architecture, IT programme delivery, preferably in complex and fast-paced environments.
  • Strong understanding of IT project management methodologies, governance frameworks, and industry best practices.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to effectively engage and influence a diverse range of stakeholders.
  • Demonstrable ability to drive change and innovation, with a focus on continuous improvement and optimisation
