Trainee Lift Engineer
Candidate based in Pontefract or surrounding areas: Castleford, Normanton, Featherstone, Knottingley, Rothwell, Wakefield
£17,500 - £22,500 + Training & Qualifications (NVQ) + Overtime + Pension + Excellent Company Benefits
Do you come from a technical background or have recently finished college? Are you looking to become a fully-fledged NVQ-qualified Lift Engineer?
On offer is a fantastic opportunity where you will travel to customer sites with an experienced Engineer carrying out installation and commissioning work whilst and learning on the job.
Alongside this the company will support you working towards your NVQ level 3, with further progression available to senior roles beyond this and overtime earning potential.
The company are a nationwide provider of passenger lift installations and servicing, and have a great reputation for investing in their staff and developing them into skilled Engineers and due to the growth of the business, are now looking to recruit more Engineers.
This position would suit somebody from a technical background who wants to become a fully qualified Lift Engineer.
The Role:
- Carrying out commissioning & installation work with some maintenance involved
- Full training and qualifications
- Mobile position with frequent overnight stays
The Candidate:
- Basic technical experience or recent college leaver
- Full UK driving licence
- Looking to become a fully qualified Engineer
