Treasury Analyst

If you have experience working within a Banking/FinTech or wider Financial Services Treasury team then we would love to speak with you about a Treasury Analyst vacancy with a growing Cross Border Payments institution.

London based - hybrid working (3 days in the office), permanent with a salary banding of circa £40 - 45,000 pa plus benefits.

What you'll be doing:

  • Aid in developing and Implementing Treasury policies, procedures, and controls
  • First-line responsibility for managing risk appetite for liquidity, funding and market risks in FX space
  • Create and implement workflow processes for reconciliation and cash management
  • Develop and implement market and liquidity risk stress testing
  • Liaise with the compliance and product teams to ensure regulatory compliance and reconciliation in all our processes
  • Present quarterly reports on the organisations financial position
  • Develop and implement data flows for proper cashflow forecasting
  • Liaise with the Data Team to identify financial operating metrics to deliver both global and regional identifiers for KRIs and KPIs.
  • Conduct deep dive analysis addressing key business questions and presenting them to stakeholders

The successful candidate will likely have:

  • Minimum 2-4 years of experience in a similar Treasury role
  • A proactive and results-oriented individual with a positive attitude who has excellent attention to detail and a strong work ethic
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with people at all levels, and across different jurisdictions/geographies.
  • Ethical, with the ability to remain impartial
  • Excellent organisational skills with the ability to prioritise and manage multiple tasks
  • simultaneously.
  • Experience in Bank treasury or Fintech Treasury team - alternatively wider Financial Services treasury may also be considered (Brokerage/Insurance/Asset Management etc)
  • Numerate, with a good grasp of Microsoft Excel
