Role Details:

We're seeking a skilled 2nd/3rd Line IT Support Analyst to join our growing Managed Services team. You'll play a crucial role in providing top-notch support to our clients and internal systems while mentoring our 1st and 2nd line engineers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Configure and install various network devices and services (Draytek, Netgear, HP)
  • Perform network maintenance and system upgrades using our Remote Management and Monitoring platform (RMM)
  • Provide Level 2 and 3 support and troubleshooting to resolve issues
  • Collaborate with 1st and 2nd line engineers for optimal service delivery
  • Conduct Cyber Security tasks including Cyber Essentials Accreditations, Penetration Testing, and Vulnerability Assessments
  • Support Cloud-based telephony/SIP trunks configuration
  • Conduct client site visits as necessary
  • Develop operating procedures, knowledge base, and documentation
  • Install and configure servers (Windows and occasionally Linux)
  • Manage and support Microsoft 365 tenancies and applications
  • Configure and support internet and associated connectivity services

The Ideal Candidate:

You're a motivated individual with a passion for technology and excellent problem-solving skills. Your experience and expertise will be pivotal in maintaining high service standards.

  • 2+ years in a 3rd line support role
  • 5+ years in IT Support roles
  • Full UK driving licence and own vehicle
  • Strong knowledge of networking protocols (TCP/IP, Ethernet, HTTPS)
  • Solid understanding of Windows operating systems and server administration (AD, DHCP, DNS, Group Policies)
  • Familiarity with virtualization technologies (VMWare, HyperV)
  • Experience with Microsoft Exchange on-premise
  • Knowledge of cyber-security solutions (Sentinel One, BitDefender)
  • Excellent communication skills
  • High attention to detail
