Job Description:
My client are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Business Manager to join their team. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth and efficient running of the school's operations. This includes overseeing facilities management, health and safety, administrative support, and financial management.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage the day-to-day operations of the school, ensuring a safe and effective learning environment.
- Oversee the maintenance and improvement of school facilities.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
- Manage the school's budget and financial planning.
- Coordinate administrative support services, including HR and IT.
- Liaise with external contractors and service providers.
- Support the Headteacher and senior leadership team in strategic planning and decision-making.
Person Specification:
- Proven experience in operations management, preferably within an educational setting.
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Knowledge of health and safety regulations.
- Financial acumen and experience with budget management.
- Proficiency in IT and administrative systems.
