Role: Secondary Music Teacher
Location: Haringey
Salary: £150-£250 per day
Start Date: September 2024
Contract Type: Long-Term, Full Time
GSL Education is currently working in partnership with a well-resourced secondary school in Haringey and we are hiring a Music Teacher to join their team in September. We are seeking a passionate individual who can inspire students with a love for music while delivering high-quality education in a dynamic and supportive environment.
Key Responsibilities and Tasks:
- Deliver engaging and interactive music lessons to students across all key stages.
- Develop and implement a diverse and stimulating curriculum that caters to varying levels of musical ability.
- Foster a love for music through innovative teaching methods and hands-on learning experiences.
- Organize and lead extracurricular music activities, such as choirs, bands, and concerts.
- Provide constructive feedback and support to students, helping them to develop their musical skills and confidence.
- Collaborate with colleagues to promote cross-curricular links and enrich the overall school experience.
The successful candidate will possess:
- Teaching certification or qualification (e.g. PGCE, QTS) for secondary school.
- Prior experience teaching Music to secondary school students.
- Strong knowledge of the national curriculum and assessment methods.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with students, colleagues, and parents.
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
- DBS on Updated Service
