Fulfiment Team Manager - £40,000 - £44,000 (dep on experience) + Generous Benefits - Day Shift 7am - 7pm (2 on 3 off, 3 on 2 off)

Futures are delighted to be working with a well-known and fast-growing food manufacturing business. This business turnover £70m+ and has achieved 300% growth over the past 2 years.

You will lead the Fulfilment function on site, overseeing a team of 50 employees across the fulfilment line. This role involves managing the warehouse team, optimising workflows, and maintaining high standards of inventory management and customer service. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in logistics, excellent leadership skills, and a commitment to continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities of a Fulfiment Team Manager

  • Oversee daily warehouse operations, including receiving, storage, picking, packing, and shipping.
  • Supervise and mentor warehouse staff, including hiring, training, and performance management.
  • Implement and maintain inventory control procedures to ensure inventory accuracy and minimize losses.
  • Ensure compliance with safety and regulatory standards within the warehouse.
  • Analyse current fulfillment processes and identify areas for improvement.
  • Develop and implement strategies to increase efficiency, reduce costs, and improve service levels.
  • Establish and maintain quality control procedures to ensure all orders meet customer specifications and company standards.
  • Address and resolve any issues related to order accuracy, product quality, and delivery times.
  • Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and generate regular reports on fulfillment performance.

**Successful Fulfiment Team Manager will be:

  • Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field. Equivalent experience may be considered.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in fulfillment, warehouse management, or logistics.
  • Proven track record of successfully managing teams and improving operational efficiency.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills.
  • Excellent organizational and problem-solving abilities.
  • Proficiency in warehouse management systems (WMS) and other relevant software.
