Our client is a leading multi-cloud consultancy, providing enterprise solutions in data platform management, application development, database architecture, and cloud solutions.
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain cloud build standards, ensuring compliance with audit requirements.
- Manage and configure cloud-based alerting services.
- Provide L2/L3 support for cloud security, connectivity, networking, load balancing, billing, and cloud projects.
- Support operating systems, primarily Linux, with some Windows and Solaris.
- Assist in managing our cloud platform, including patching, capacity, and availability management.
- Participate in the on-call rota for out-of-hours support.
- Offer guidance and advice to customers on service management.
- Support the deployment of new cloud environments and onboarding of new customers.
- Maintain cloud-specific certifications and support internal training initiatives.
Requirements
- Extensive experience with Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI), Azure, AWS and GCP.
- Proficiency in implementing and supporting Oracle Engineered Systems (PCA, ODA, Exadata).
- Strong knowledge of Linux operating systems.
- Understanding of network infrastructure principles, including routing, VPN, load balancing, and web application firewalls.
- Familiarity with a consultancy environment and experience in end-to-end cloud project delivery.
- Experience with infrastructure security best practices.
- Familiarity with monitoring systems and virtualisation technologies.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- The ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies.
