We are seeking a Graduate Electrical Design Engineer to join our clients innovative team! This role offers the opportunity to contribute to the cutting-edge field of electric vehicle design.
Day-to-day of the role:
- Collaborate with a team of engineers to design and develop electrical systems for electric vehicles.
- Utilise CAD software to create schematic diagrams and layout drawings for vehicle wiring and electrical systems.
- Participate in prototype development, including hands-on assembly and testing of electrical components.
- Analyse and interpret data from testing to inform design decisions and improvements.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams to integrate electrical systems with mechanical and software components.
- Stay abreast of the latest industry trends, technologies, and best practices in electric vehicle design.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
- Strong foundation in electrical design principles and practices.
- Proficiency with CAD software and electrical simulation tools.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- MUST be eligible to work within the UK - unable to support sponsorship.
