Head of Payroll & Reward

We are recruiting for a Head of Payroll and Reward for a permanent role within a large leading construction company.

The role is a critical part of the Senior Management team in the HR shared service centre based in Rushden. You will have two team managers and a team 20 indirect reports across payroll, pension, and reward resources. Your team will support the administration of both the monthly, weekly payrolls and, reward and benefit administration. This team is a high performing one, but there is still some work to do to keep adding proactive value to the organisation, working very closely with finance, IT, and the HR CoEs.

Essential Experience:

  • Experience in a similar role within a large, complex organisation
  • Significant knowledge and experience in the reward and payroll operations space
  • Excellent leadership and management skills
  • Ability to act as a conduit between different parts of the business
  • Sense of urgency with an excellent attention to detail
