Day-to-day of the role:
- Assessing the work of students in practical and theory carpentry sessions.
- Providing constructive feedback and guidance to help students meet learning outcomes.
- Working closely with the teaching staff to develop curriculum and assessment plans.
- Maintaining accurate records of student progress and achievements.
- Ensuring a safe and supportive learning environment in line with college policies.
- Staying updated with industry standards and integrating them into the assessment process.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Proven experience in carpentry, with a strong understanding of the trade.
- Relevant assessor qualifications or willingness to work towards them.
