After successfully bringing on a number of transactional colleagues into the team, they are now looking to bring on a talented and experienced Management Accountant into their branch in Wolverhampton. As a Management Accountant, you will be working directly with the Finance Manager, your role will see you being responsible for the production of the management account packs, where your commentary will be valued and your thoughts listened to. You will also be exposed to the budgeting and forecasting process and depending on your development you will be able to take on the responsibility of speaking in budgeting and forecasting meetings and interacting with budget holders. The organisation provides a terrific level of feedback throughout your time in the role and will always take your thoughts on board if you have any considerations on how to improve your experience.
Skills Required
- To have experience being a vocal member of an accounting team, providing thoughts and commentary and being involved with financial meetings. It is important to be confident and to have experience providing your findings to senior members or external stakeholders.
- To be confident and competent completing tasks such as posting journals, completing reconciliations, gaining experience working with the P&L and conducting comprehensive variance analysis.
- To have a strong ability on Microsoft Excel and to have experience using Vlookups and Pivot Tables and to be confident when producing reports to feed back to senior management.
- To be currently studying or to already started studying your ACCA or CIMA qualification. This organisation are ideally looking for someone with a technical knowledge gained from their studies.
