Bookkeeper Role Overview
Due to growth, our Liverpool based client are seeking a Bookkeeper to join their small but busy finance team. As the Bookkeeper, you will support and report directly into the company director
Bookkeeper Responsibilities:
- Raising PO's and sending them to the suppliers
- Checking supplier invoices against POs
- Reconciling invoices
- Raising sales invoices and sending them to customers and dealing with supplier invoicing
- Credit control - chasing payments from customers
- Project reconciliation to ensure the project financials are consistent.
- Compiling figures for VAT returns
- Responsible for stock checks within the business including managing stock for projects, ordering new stock for projects, and managing internal deliveries.
Bookkeeper Experience Required
- Experience using Xero
- Bookkeeping, handling purchase orders and raising invoices.
- Studying towards AAT - Desirable
- Excellent organisational skills
- Strong communication skills
