Are you a Legal Secretary with 2+ years experience, and looking for a fixed-term contract with a top US law firm?
If so, Ryder Reid are recruiting for a hard-working and enthusiastic Legal Secretary to work for a leading US law firm based in the heart of London. This is a full-time vacancy, Monday to Friday, 9:30-17:30.
This is a 12-month fixed-term contract (maternity cover).
You will be working in the Restructuring department. Hybrid working - 3 days in the office, 2 at home.

Duties include, but not limited to:
- Manage and organise incoming calls, emails, documents, and projects
- Transcription and dictation where required
- Diary management - maintaining calendar and reminder systems
- Hospitality management - schedule activities and meetings, book travel and accommodation, prepare itineraries, process travel expenses
- Maintain, file, and store relevant documents
- Prepare legal documents for partners and attorneys
- Manage attorney's timesheet entries
- Attend training sessions and meetings
- General administrative support - covering holidays and absence, filing, photocopying, document requests
- Other duties as and when required
We are ideally looking for someone with at least 2 years of secretarial experience who can get stuck in and work with minimal supervision!
You must have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, the ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment, and a positive, can-do attitude.
You need excellent technical and document skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office and internal software and a transcription level of 70wpm.
We are looking for a team player who can work efficiently with co-workers and always maintain positive contact with clients and staff.
You must be efficient, adaptable, and flexible as your workload and schedule may be constantly changing according to the needs of the associates/partners.
