Group Financial Accountant
for a Global business based in Nottinghamshire. The role will give you exposure to a wide range of responsibilities, different entities and a vast array of stakeholders.

Role Purpose:
In this key position, you will ensure the delivery of accurate and timely financial information for both internal and external stakeholders, including the Director of Financial Control, CFO, and Board of Directors. Your expertise will guide the monthly group consolidation and all external statutory reporting for their multinational group.
Key Responsibilities of the
Group Financial Accountant
will include
:
- You will oversee the delivery of the Plc Annual Report, coordinating with various departments including CoSec, Investor Relations, and HR.
- Manage auditor input throughout the process.
- You will prepare monthly consolidations, conduct variance analyses, and oversee inter-company reconciliations.
- You will act as the main point of contact for auditors regarding the financial statements.
- You will collaborate with Group Statutory Accountants to ensure compliance and assess the quality of balance sheet reconciliations.
- You will work with the Group Technical Accountant to analyze financial reporting developments and ensure proactive communication with the Board and auditors.
- You will partner with Group Tax to provide financial analysis in response to HMRC queries.
- You will support the Head of Statutory Reporting and Director of Financial Control with any ad hoc analysis requests.
