A reputable technology firm is looking for an experienced Cloud Implementation Analyst to join the wider team - you MUST have hands-on commercial experience in Orca or other Cloud Platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) to be successful in your application for this role.
Your new role
This role involves auditing existing cloud accounts on the Orca Platform, onboarding all the client's public cloud accounts (AWS, Azure, GCP) to Orca, and documenting business units, owners, and tags.
- Ensure seamless integration and data synchronisation between Orca and cloud providers.
- Supporting and documenting the onboarding of accounts with cloud platform owners.
- Facilitating the setup of Orca view only accounts for business owners via OKTA.
- Validating the users have access to the required sections of the platform.
Documentation and Tagging:
- Document business units, owners, and strategic tags within the Orca platform. Exiting documents available, validating, and streamlining the details.
- Create business units in Orca and assign appropriate tags for organisational structure and management purposes. Tags to be implemented such that they are in-line and consistent with the convention used in the business for other vulnerability management tools.
- Documenting all processes for operational and audit purposes.
Orca Report Setup:
- Gather report preferences from stakeholders during the account onboarding process. Document and configure reports within Orca for each business unit.
- Configure Orca reports based on the reporting requirements of each business unit.
- Setup customise reports to provide valuable insights into cloud infrastructure performance and security posture.
Ticketing Tool Integration:
- Integrate Orca with the Jira ticketing system for automated ticket creation using the documentation provided by Orca, liaising with Orca resources.
- Configure automated ticket creation against the required Jira project for each business unit.
Alerts and Reports Setup:
- Set up alerts and reports for workloads leveraging tags and reporting to business owners.
- Ensure timely notifications and actionable insights for monitoring and managing cloud resources.
Scheduled Security Posture Reports:
- Configure scheduled security posture reports for each high-level business unit intended for the leadership team.
- Set up a comprehensive view of compliance status and security vulnerabilities leveraging custom dashboards in Orca.
What you'll need to succeed
- Proven experience in cloud infrastructure management and monitoring.
- Knowledge of public cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, and GCP.
- Familiarity with cloud monitoring tools, preferably Orca.
- Experience with documentation, tagging, and organisational structuring in cloud environments.
- Proficiency in configuring reports, alerts, and integration with ticketing systems.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
