Role Type: Permanent
Salary: £30,000 - £34,000 Per Annum
Location: Nottinghamshire
Shifts: 2 weeks days, 2 weeks nights OR just day shifts

The Role
Our Nottingham based client has an exciting opportunity job for a Toolmaker to join their team.
The ideal Toolmaker experience:
Set, run and operate Toolroom machines consisting of EDM wire eroding, manual CNC mill and lathe machines, cylindrical and surface grinders to a high level of skill.
Understand and make parts using engineering and third angle projection drawings, understanding most general dimension and tolerance requirements;
Support and help to improve manufacturing methods;
Assist production departments to maintain and refurbish machine parts and associated equipment, and inputting of data.
Desirable Toolmaker skills:
- GCSEs (A-C grades including Maths and English) or equivalent.
- NVQ level 2 or 3.
- BTEC engineering qualification.
- AutoCAD - Solidworks
- Work on own initiative.
- Experience using EFACS or similar ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning) system.
